Costumes
My first real foray in vacuum forming was wildly successful, so much so that for armor I want to mass produce I will be basing it on vacuum forming. It's easy, it's quick, it's light, and it has that armor feel when you touch it.
Halo 4 Spartan, October 2014
Having been such a long time between really making something, I made an entirely new suit, most of which I had to design myself to get it just the way I wanted. Made from EVA foam and attached to the undersuit using snaps. Featuring M4 magazine pouches for functionality.

Halo: Reach Spartan, August 2013
Having been such a long time between really making something, I made an entirely new suit, most of which I had to design myself to get it just the way I wanted. Made from EVA foam and attached to the undersuit using snaps. Featuring M4 magazine pouches for functionality.

Halo: Reach Spartan, August 2013
With one more improvement to the October 2012 suit, lights, pouch, and a heavily modified Nerf gun. Made with hot glue and LEDs, a tactical case, and a Nerf gun with attachments and foam details.

Halo: Reach Spartan, July 2013
Designed for a 5' 2" woman, all pieces had to be scaled down and specially fitted. Made from EVA foam and hot glue with a resin, fiberglass, body filler, and a motorcycle visor for the helmet.

Halo: Reach Spartan, October 2012
Improvements to the July 2012 suit with new kneepads, shoulders, and chest plate. Made with neodymium magnets, EVA foam, hot glue, and bolts.

Halo: Reach Spartan Helmets, July 2012
Depending on how I'm feeling, I wanted to be able to switch up my helmets. Made from resin, fiberglass, body filler, and a vacuum-formed visor.

Halo: Reach Spartan, July 2012
With foam making a much larger presence in the 405th community, I took my hand at it. Made from Hot glue, EVA foam, and a fiberglass and resin helmet.

Halo: Reach Spartan, October 2011
With spare time I improved the shoulders, sheath, chest, codpiece and miscellaneous details. Improvements made from resin, fiberglass, body filler, craft foam, and layer pine (for the sheath).

Halo: Reach Spartan (on the right), July 2011
A much bigger improvement from the year before. Made from resin, fiberglass, body filler, and a motorcycle visor.

Halo 3: ODST Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, October 2010
My first real endeavor into accurate costume making. Made from resin, fiberglass, and body filler with a heavily modified Nerf gun.

Transformers Red Alert, October 2009
Aiming for a less ambitious Transformer, this one didn't transform and was just based around a robot. Made from cardboard, packaging tape, and printed decals.

Transformers Red Alert, October 2008
Made with cardboard and packaging tape, this costume ended up as a learning experience more than an actual costume.

Transformers Optimus Prime, October 2007
This was made with mostly cardboard and tape and really transformed

General Props
405th Pacific Regiment Coin
This was just an idea for fun, but with a logo upgrade, this design is now outdated. This was made using Solidworks 2015 and best suited for a 3D Print.

Captain America USO Girl Apron
I jumped into this without prior sewing experience, patterns, and minimal reference pictures. Made from red, white and blue fabric and thread.

NERF Masterkey
With the release of a Nerf shotgun, it lent itself to an underslung shotgun very easily. Handle chopped off with a table saw and fine cut with a dremel.

TARDIS Journal
Without the need to actually document anything, I hollowed out and handmade a book to hold a Nook. Made from Vinyl, tea-dyed legal paper, elastic, and book board.

Scalemail Bikini
Although it's not very protective, or comfortable, or supportive, it sure looks cool! Hand weaved with anodized aluminum scales and anodized aluminum rings.

NERF Halo Designated Marksman Rifle
Since it's not very fun to carry around a heavy prop that doesn't do anything but look cool, I made it functional! This NERF gun still fires and is made from EVA foam, hot glue, a Laser Tag scope, PVC pipe, and a NERF gun.

Halo: Reach Spartan Doll
Made without patterns, the base doll is made from a smooth fabric with felt glued on as armor.

NERF Halo Assault Rifle
This one has seen some better days. Made with a water bottle, cardboard, hot glue, and a NERF gun.

Works In Progress
Halo 4 Warmaster Helmet
Chainmail Hauberk
With each ring drill spun, hand cut, and woven together, I have an attractive tube top.
